Born in Shanghai, Violet Zhou went to the United States to attend a boarding school in Indiana at age 14. During her time in high school, she was able to explore and expand her interests in visual arts. She later on took a focus on fashion design, and has recently graduated from Rhode Island School of Design majoring in apparel design ('2020).
